Eighth Air Force Museum
See up close and personal the great and now very rare collection of Air Force aircraft that won WWII. The museum displays 28 aircraft and missiles on 9 acres.The museum tells the story of Historic Barksdale AFB, 2d Bomb Wing, and the "Mighty Eighth" synonymous with WWII action over the skies of war-torn Europe.
Barnwell Garden and Art Center
The Barnwell Garden & Art Center has a unique Shreveport location with charm, history and a spectacular water view on the Red River. At the Barnwell Center you'll find visual exhibitions, art classes and a domed botanical garden featuring tropical plants. The store at the Barnwell Center, a fine crafts gallery features one of a kind contemporary handmade works created by skilled artisians from across the state.
