FDA Authorizes First At-Home Coronavirus Sample Collection Kit The U.S. FDA approved the first at-home Coronavirus diagnostic test on Tuesday, which will allow you to collect your sample in your own home and mail it off to a lab. FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn said the test will be available in most states “in the next few weeks.” The at-home test will include a swab for your nose and saline. You’ll mail off the test to North Carolina-based LabCorp and should get results in “two to four days” according to Reuters. Do you think more people will get tested for Coronavirus if they can choose to do so from home?
