Covid-19 Practices: Interview with Dr. Ghali, Chancellor of LSU Health Shreveport

As the number of positive cases of Covid-19 in our area continue to rise, we are all concerned on how we can best protect ourselves and our loved ones. We also wondered what would be the proper steps to take if we or someone we knew began exhibiting symptoms.

We consulted with Dr. G.E. Ghali DDS, MD, FACS, FRCS (Ed)  Chancellor of LSU Health Shreveport, and found that LSU Health Shreveport has set up a laboratory that will be capable of analyzing COVID-19 tests, and can determine results within 24 to 48 hours. In comparison, the majority of commercially produced tests take between 5-10 days to see results.
