“No rain, no flowers!”

We should certainly have plenty of flowers (and tall grass!) after all the rain we’ve had in the past week!

In a figurative and a literal sense, you have to water your garden in order for it to grow. Unless you want nothing but prickly cacti or tumbleweeds, you have to maintain the landscape.

Sometimes rain can be a bummer, but other times it leads to wonderful things like a nap filled afternoon on the couch. And even metaphorical rain can be your friend. It points you to a better path, and may keep you from making a mistake.
