What is Prize Fest?
Prize Fest Online is a virtual festival experience featuring all kinds of artistic exhibitions and competitions. Watch short films made in Louisiana by filmmakers from across the world. Hear captivating bands and musicians from across region. Eat local food and invite national chefs into your homes to teach you how to cook like the masters. See stunning local fashion cross the runway.
This year, you’ll be closer than ever to the action thanks to Prize Fest’s virtual experience. All films will be available on-demand. Live streams of music, food, and fashion events will fill your home with the amazing talents of some of the world’s most amazing artists and promising upstarts. Film Prize:
20 FILMS. $25,000 CASH PRIZE.
YOU ARE THE JUDGE.
Filmmakers from across the world create projects for Film Prize each year, but only twenty are selected to compete for the grand prize. These finalists were curated by the Film Prize Selection Committee — made up of industry professionals such as writers, directors, producers, actors, journalists, critics, and other disciplines. Now their work is done and yours begins. Watch all twenty films starting Friday, October 2nd, and choose your favorites to win the world’s largest cash prize for a short film!
How to See All 20 Short Films and Vote for a Winner
To view the films, you will need to purchase a film-eligible pass (Film Pass or Combo Pass, or any Prize Experience Kit). Once you purchase a pass, the 20 short films will be available on-demand beginning Friday, October 2nd on this website. Once you have seen all of the films, a ballot will automatically unlock and you can cast your vote by selecting a first, second, and third place choice. Celebrity Judges, a group of film and entertainment industry professionals, will also see the films at the same time as the audience and vote for their favorites in a similar fashion. The Judges’ votes account for only 50% of the total. The audience is the other 50%. This means YOU, the audience member, have a huge say in who wins one of the largest cash prizes for a film in the world.

Food Prize:
Every year, the Food Prize Golden Fork highlights 20 local chefs from which finalists are selected to compete in front of a live audience for the grand prize. This year, we are changing things up and introducing Food Prize: Power to the People. We have invited six of our 2020 Golden Fork Chefs to created incredible specials available for a limited time and will be competing for your vote to be crowned this year’s Golden Fork champion and $1,000 cash!
How does Power to the People work?
1) Pick up a free Food Prize Passport at any of the participating restaurants starting Thursday, September 10th.
2) Visit at least three of the competing chef’s restaurants and get your passport punched with the purchase of a meal. You may dine-in or pick up, but you must visit the restaurant and present your Food Prize Passport to be punched.
3) Come back to prizefest.comto vote for your favorite chef by 11:59pm on Sunday, October 11th. You will be asked to upload a photo of your punched Food Prize Passport. The Prize Staff will verify your passport before your vote is counted.
4) Find out who won! Join us at our live Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, October 13th at 12:00 p.m. CST where the winning chef will be announced and awarded $1,000 cash!

Music Prize:
