Bite your tongue! If somebody lashes out at you, don’t sink to their level and be ugly back.

Formulate a nice response, and work around them. You’re going to encounter people that try to make life unnecessarily difficult. Throwing in extra requirements, or pouting because things aren’t being done the way THEY would do them…. All of it can be a nightmare. Especially when you have a clear goal ahead of you! It’s very tempting to write them off, (or just tell them off!) but that isn’t always the best way to go about it. You may need their help on down the line, and nobody wants to have to eat crow.

Find a way to work around the problem people, or better yet–work WITH the problem people!
