“It comes down to all the little things” 

Stupid little things. I hate how a handful of little things can ruin my day. A bad comment that I get stuck on. Missing an opportunity because I wasn’t paying attention. Feeling left out because I have to work while other cool things are going on. See how SMALL and petty those things sound?! Such dumb little things that won’t matter in 5 years, but are taking up all of my thoughts and happy vibes for the day. I just hate that. And I hate how I let it ruin my day. I try not to dwell on it, but it’s like telling yourself not to think about pink elephants. Suddenly, all you see is pink elephants!!

Now don’t get me wrong, details and little nit picky specks are important. But if you get too caught up in all those trivial things, you’ll miss the big stuff that happens in life!

Today take a break from the small things, and just breathe. In and out, in and out. The small things will keep, or go away.
