Saturday Aug. 1 at Festival Plaza-Shreveport Farmers’ Market:

Friday, July 31st Moon Light Paddle & Bonfire on the Red River:
Something fun and different! Bring you kayak or canoe and a roasting stick to this unique event. You’ll put in the river by Sci-port at 7p, and paddle up just past Margaritaville and 12 Mile Bayou for a hotdog and marshmallow roast, before turning back. This event runs until about 10:30, and provides some incredible wildlife experience, plus the stunning visuals of downtown and the casinos lit up at night. Saturday Aug 1st. Drive in movie @ Red River Brewpub at 7p:
Hey you guuuuuys! Catch the Goonies, starting at 8pm during RRB’s first ever drive in movie! The cost is $25 per car, and includes a free popcorn bucket. Sunday Aug. 2nd Community Bike Ride @ Sci-port at 6:30p:

Saturday, Aug. 1st Community Art Event @ The Farm at Culture Crossroads 10a-2p:
The community is invited out to 419 E. Union St in Minden to help create some beautiful art that showcases the love and talent in our area! Several options are available, 1 large canvas to feature the mission statement and square blocks for artists to paint their artwork in, 2 Freeform canvases for graffiti art, or 1 Children’s art canvas.
