2020 Centerpoint Energy Red River Balloon Rally June 12th & 13th!
Drawing a record of nearly 20,000 spectators, the annual Red River Balloon Rally is north Louisiana’s largest hot air balloon festival. This family-friendly event welcomes everyone to enjoy a colorful field of fun every summer in Shreveport-Bossier. After much thought and consideration, the Red River Balloon Rally committee has decided to convert the 2020 CenterPoint Energy Red River Balloon Rally into a series of hot air balloon overflights that will soar across various neighborhoods in Shreveport-Bossier, June 12-13. Weather permitting, this picturesque overflight will allow spectators to enjoy 10-12 colorful balloons from the comfort of their homes or the seat of their cars. Due to the recent COVID-19 mandates, it is in the best interest of our community to scale back our popular event and prioritize the health of our local residents.

Caddo Lake Photo Cruise Friday, June 13th
Join Holly Stricklin with Fort Worth Camera on a day trip to Texas’ only natural lake, Caddo Lake! This photo adventure will take you to the edge of Texas as we learn about the history of Caddo Lake, photograph wildlife, and practice sunset photography! Traveling comfortably on a pontoon boat, we will perfectly time our excursion to line-up a sunset image for all participants. The tour will provide us with fascinating facts about the area, spectacular bird photography opportunities, and the occasional alligator! Don’t worry, it’s safe 😉
We will meet up at the entrance to Caddo Lake State Park to discuss the following topics:

Artipsy Couples Paint Friday, June 13th
We will take every precaution to insure everyones safety. Seating will follow social distancing guidelines.
Join us Saturday June 13th @ 7:00p for a paint session at Artipsy as we paint “King and Queen”
With this class you will be painting on one canvas. Purchase 1 ticket to cover both attendees.
Paint session is $45 which includes all supplies needed for class. Seating at Artipsy is open and is first come first served. Doors to the studio entrance will open at 6:30 and the paint session will start at 7pm. If coming with a group with 5 or more people please email us at [email protected]. If you show up with a group after the session has started and we were not notified prior to the event sitting together is not guaranteed.
